Peggy Chan, Chairman

Peggy is the Chairman of the company. Peggy is also the founder and Chairman & CEO of Excel Technology International Holdings Limited, and is responsible for setting the strategic directions of the Company. Peggy has over 16 years of experience in business re-engineering, strategy studies, technology planning and systems development, particularly in the finance and banking area. Starting her career as a manager in Arthur Young & Company in Washington D.C., United States, Peggy returned to Hong Kong in 1988 to establish the local office of an Australian software house, and later Excel Technology. Peggy received the DHL/SCMP Hong Kong Young Entrepreneur Business Award in 1990 for outstanding entrepreneurship. Peggy is also a founding member of the Cyber Youth Services, a non-profit organization dedicated to provide local community services to the young people through innovative usage of information technology, and a founding member of Information and Software Industry Association, a trade organization dedicated to promote the software industry in Hong Kong.

 

Rickie Fung, Chief Executive Officer

Rickie Fung is the CEO of i21 Limited. i21 was founded as a joint venture of Excel Technology and iBusiness Corporation. With a vision of building i21 into the dominant ASP provider in Asia, Rickie is responsible to lead the development of ASP services using Excel's proven software, and marketing them by leveraging the customer reach of the shareholders of iBusiness. He is also spearheading the regional expansion of the i21 business throughout Asia.

Rickie is also a director of Excel Technology, which recently listed on the Growth Enterprise Market of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Joining Excel in 1996, Rickie was responsible for developing and selling software solutions tailored to banks and finance companies in Hong Kong. He was also the driving force behind Excel's networking and systems integration business.

Rickie has more than 20 years of experience in the information technology industry. He began his career in 1977, working as a programmer in Canada, and joined IBM Hong Kong as a software engineer in 1979. During more than 17 years at IBM, Rickie took technical, management, marketing and training roles. Immediately prior to joining Excel, he helped build IBM Hong Kong's system integration business in electronic workflow and imaging technology.

 

Edmond Ip, Director

Edmond is the Director of the company. Edmond is also the Executive Director of Cheung Kong (Holdings) Limited and Cheung Kong Infrastructure Holdings Limited; the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of iBusiness Corporation; and the director of TOM.COM Limited. Edmond holds a Master of Science degree in business and administration, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics. Joining the company, Edmond has significant experience in the Hong Kong financial market covering diverse activities such as banking, capital market, corporate finance, securities brokerage and portfolio investments.
